By moving the rotating bezel inwards they create a modern yet classic look. The IWC Aqutimer is the perfect toolwatch for all occations. IWC Schaffhausen has long traditions of doing things. The "regular" steel chrono is 44mm in diameter and with a water resistance of 30 bar (about 300 meters). It uses an ETA 7750 base, modified to IWC specifications, and is Calibre 79320. It comes with a silver dial or black, with bracelet or rubber strap. Here's a wrist shot: The Aquatimer is NOT a small watch, the nominal case diameter of 42 mm is increased by larger bezel (∅ 44 mm) and the lug to lug measurement of 52 mm must be able to be worn. However, the lugs drop quite steeply, so the watch can probably be worn well with a smaller wrist circumference.
At 42mm in diameter and with a thickness of nearly 14.5mm, the IWC Aquatimer 3536 can’t be characterized as small, but it wears beautifully. Credit part of that to its ridiculously low 120g weight – thanks titanium. However the original strap is too small for a normal wrist (..) it nearly covers the two rubber bands around the strap. If you replace the strap with another strap (the one of the IW3768 chrono) you'll find it much more comfortable. These are the two 46mm in diameter new models (the chronos are 44mm and that regular Automatics are 42mm). First, the 2000: It has a really nice dial, and again the appendage at 9 o'clock is not a helium release valve. These watches can withstand the pressures of great depth without such a valve. I love the IWC Aquatimer line - flies under the radar somewhat, but the construction and case/bezel safe-dive design system is IWC engineering doing what they do best. pushing forward. Wear it in good health!
